This remarkably light and accessible red wine relies on manually harvested fruit that is crushed and destemmed before entering the cellar. Forty percent of the Pinot Noir undergoes an 18-day full carbonic maceration, while another forty percent is given 15 hours of skin contact before being blended with a direct-press component and fermented using wild yeasts across oak and steel.

Richard Woodfine's lifelong pull to nature led him to study Earth Sciences at Oxford University, building a deep awe for the balancing forces of the natural world and our own relative insignificance. Driven by passion and a desire to connect people with the outdoors, he took the leap into crafting ethically-sourced, natural English wines that support the local community. Living in Seer Green, he manages a sheltered clos vineyard surrounded by protective woodlands in the rolling chalk hills of the Chilterns.
