Sourced from 50-year-old vines, this skin-contact white spends 20 days macerating in conical oak vats with daily manual punch-downs. It is aged for eight months in large neutral barrels to develop a complex, aromatic profile that balances savoury herbs with ripe fruit.
Francesco Pozzobon moved from Veneto to the hills of Asti to start Tenuta Foresto, where he manages eight hectares of land with a focus on biodiversity. He is a staunch follower of Masanobu Fukuoka’s philosophy, aiming to have as little impact on the natural ecosystem as possible while producing wines of great power and honesty.

The estate is located in the heart of the Nizza DOCG, though Francesco chooses to work outside the strict appellation rules to maintain his natural approach. His cellar work is minimal, using old oak and concrete to let the clay and tuff soils of his vineyards express themselves without interference.
