BOSKO’S BACK, ALRIGHT! What difference does 12 years make? For one unique IPA, everything and nothing.

OG old school Bosko was an Amarillo & Mosaic IPA with more crystal and a different boil hop schedule. Part of Pressure Drops original core beer range, it was sweet and smooth. A full circle beer, meta before its time, from the US brewers coming over here, drinking cask bitters, taking it back to the states, bumping bitterness and adding their hop varieties and remixing it into a new thing which started arriving back on our shores in the early 2010s.

The current Bosko has evolved to Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra and a top secret extra hop ;) As new hop formats have come online, ratios have tweaked as a result, the caramelly crystal malt has been dialled back with most of the colour coming from lighter malts, and an adjusted boil hopping targeting clean bitterness.

Is this Bosko’s final pokemon form? Who knows, but we love this beer for the story it tells about the beery journey we’ve all been on.
