To celebrate the 2024 edition of Northern Monks hoppy-focused beer festival, they’ve brewed the same beer… twice; a thick-as-you-like 8.2% DIPA, and an AF-version for those who want the hop hits without the ABV.

Both versions have been brewed with Cascade, Sabro, Citra Cryo(R), CryoPop(R), Idaho 7, and Simcoe, for a tropical flavour with hints of coconut, lime and some grassy undernotes.

Like Hop City, for the beer, they brought the people together. From Virginia, USA, Commonwealth Brewing, from… all over really, it’s Mash Gang, and from Northern Monks home city of Leeds, Super Friendz, a creative team specialising in memorable and impactful events, spaces and creative.
