Fermented naturally with native yeasts, the juice is aged exclusively in traditional, large neutral oak casks (Stückfass) on its lees. It presents a crisp, laser-focused palate filled with green apple, lime zest, and a distinct chalky minerality, framed by a broad texture and a mouth-watering, dry finish.

Koehler-Ruprecht is one of the oldest and most uncompromising estates in the Pfalz region, with a winemaking heritage stretching back over 300 years. Located in Kallstadt, the estate is famous for rejecting modern classification rules, choosing instead to focus strictly on traditional dry styles based on natural grape ripeness at harvest. Their vines are planted on rich limestone and gravel soils, and cellar operations remain steadfastly low-intervention, relying on old wood oak barrels, long wild fermentations, and zero additives.
