Moscatel and Merseguera, from Alicante, Spain.
Floral • citrus • lightly • funky
A great entry level orange wine with a slight funk, but still very crisp and well balanced, with a lovely fresh feel.
A vibrant and textured skin-contact white from Spain’s Mediterranean coast. This orange wine blends aromatic Moscatel with local Malvasía, fermented naturally and aged in a mix of concrete and steel.
It pours a golden yellow with heady aromas of orange blossom, quince, chamomile and a hint of peach. On the palate, it’s fresh, slightly wild, and nicely balanced – crisp citrus and apple notes play against a touch of savoury funk and a gentle salinity. No fining, filtration or sulphur – just natural expression and beachy charm.
A great value introduction to orange wine – complex yet approachable, with floral lift and citrus drive. Think sunshine, skin-contact, and salty sea air.
