Created through extended skin contact, this orange wine develops a beautiful amber hue and a unique tannic structure. It offers a complex profile of tea leaves and stone fruit with a refreshing, dry finish that stands up well to spicy foods.

Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec sits at the meeting point of three famous Languedoc regions: the Clape, Minervois, and Corbières. The estate has been in the Boutié family since 1999, when Lionel Boutié took the bold step of converting the entire 50-hectare vineyard to organic methods, later progressing to full biodynamic farming. The vines thrive in ancient alluvial soils near Narbonne, where the Mediterranean breeze helps maintain the health and purity of the fruit.

Working with ancient alluvial soils and the cooling influence of the Mediterranean winds, the estate produces wines that emphasise purity and terroir. Every bottle is crafted with minimal intervention, using native yeasts and avoiding synthetic additives to ensure the energy of the vineyard is reflected in the glass.

The ‘Scène’ range is a particular tribute to the artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec—whose family once owned some of these very vineyards—and features labels created in collaboration with the painter ‘Fauve’.
