An exceptional expression of Assyrtiko that perfectly strikes a balance between tension and physical weight. The nose opens with clean aromas of fresh oyster shell and rock melon, leading to a taut, intensely mineral-driven palate packed with lemon zest and subtle brioche depth. To preserve absolute purity, only free-run juice is used with zero skin contact; one-third is wild-fermented in unique acacia barrels while the rest is kept crisp in stainless steel, before the whole blend spends eight months resting on fine lees.

Founded by the Charalaboglou family in northern Greece, this estate beautifully blends ancient Macedonian terroir with a fresh winemaking vision. After returning from New Zealand in 2021, Anthi Charalaboglou partnered with winemaker Matt van der Spuy to champion native Greek varieties using low-intervention techniques. Sourced from two certified organic plots sitting at 220 metres on the foothills of Mt Pangaion, the vines benefit from silty clay soils and drastic day-night temperature shifts that yield immense structural freshness.
