Clos Kixhaya is the project of winemakers Beatriz Papamija and Étienne Le Blanc, based in Chinon in the Loire Valley. They work primarily with Cabernet Franc from old vines aged between 30 and 90 years, planted on sandy gravel over clay and limestone. Their philosophy is rooted in working simply with what their four hectares provide, adhering to organic and biodynamic practices (beyond minimum certification requirements). Biodiversity is a key priority, promoting life in the vineyard and disturbing the natural environment as little as necessary.
