A rare and still white wine expression of Cabernet Franc, this 'Blanc de Noirs' is made from the earliest pick of the harvest to retain a crisp acidity. The grapes are immediately and gently direct-pressed to minimise any colour extraction, then fermented with native yeasts. This process captures the red grape's aromatic complexity—offering subtle, fresh red berry notes alongside a pure, clean, and beautifully structured minerality on the finish.

Clos Kixhaya is the passionate project of Beatriz Papamija and Étienne Le Blanc in the heart of Chinon. They are the custodians of a four-hectare, walled vineyard planted exclusively with old Cabernet Franc vines, some dating back up to 90 years. The vines grow on classic sandy gravel soils over clay and limestone, known locally as Varennes Graveleuses. The couple is committed to working with biodynamic principles, going far beyond organic minimums to promote biodiversity and soil health. Their philosophy is hands-off in both the vineyard and cellar, with zero additions, allowing the unique terroir of their single variety to be fully expressed in every bottle.
