Strong, thick and orangey looking, at 7.1% volume it’s a right hop monster. But not one you’d chase out of town with a pitchfork, because it’s a terrifyingly good brew. In fact, despite its tongue-tingling bitterness, deep down it’s a juicy, full-bodied softy with a chewy sweetness that wouldn’t say boo to a ghost. Bursting with resinous pine, dank fruitiness, plus tropical, citrus and earthy flavours, the only scary bit would be to never taste this hazy brute. Hailing from a third coast, this beasty brew bridges the gap between East and West Coast IPAs.
