Northern Monk's Project recreating the flavours of Lanre’s worldwide travels as a writer this time takes us to New York - specifically the cocktail bars of Greenpoint, and in particular, the Paloma cocktail - a long, refreshing sweet-sour-salty-bitter spritz of tequila, grapefruit soda, lime and salt. Hopped with Talus, Motueka and Ekuanot to recreate the pink grapefruit and lime flavours that are signatures of this cocktail recipe. With a touch of lime juice for a sharp citrus bite, backed up by the bittersweet juiciness of pink grapefruit.

It's a fantastic shop and I can't recommend it highly enough. Wonderful selection of beers, regular rotation of what's on tap and lovely helpful staff. If you can't make it in person their delivery options are great, and very quick if you live local. A really nice selection of low to no alcohol beers as well. You'd be a fool to not check it out.
