The beer was conditioned on toasted PX cask staves, smoked in-house, before a portion was aged in a Royal Brackla whisky butt (approx. 450L). The result is a bold, complex stout with flavours of treacle, ripe plum, burnt caramel, oak, whisky and a subtle touch of smoke. Drink young or age, this will get weirder.
